Akorede Kalejaiye, who goes by the stage name Kalkor drops a fresh track titled +234 on the October 25, 2020. 234 which is an upbeat Afrotrap song depict youthful exuberance in Lagos state (Africa’s largest metropolis). The track which was produced by US-based IMPLANT MUSIC, a duo of producers from New York, combines melodic African tunes with Trap beats. It is the first the singer has released in about 2 months since officially starting his career. The track is a form of vocal support to the ongoing movement to end all forms of vices in Nigeria, particularly, #EndSars movement.
+234 as a track is stylistically Afrobeats as Kalkor’s energetic vocals (close resemblance with Davido’s fury on tracks) perfects the underlying track just like a track of XXXTentacion’s ? album with elements of bass-boosted southern hip-hop, afrobeats sounds and Emo rap.
