The film follows the journey of Sergei Kravinoff, the son of the Russian mobster Nikolai Kravinoff. After a traumatic encounter with a lion in his youth, Sergei is saved by a mystical potion from Calypso Ezili, which grants him enhanced abilities similar to those of predatory animals. As an adult, now known as Kraven, he partners with Calypso to take down a notorious poaching ring led by Aleksei Sytsevich, especially after the abduction of his brother Dmitri.
