The latest movie by Gareth Evans, "Havoc," is just vicious and bloody, adding nothing new to its well-worn genre. The film will probably not let you down if all you want is a lot of terribly violent action and mayhem, but, people, I want more than that, which is why I started to get less interested in what was happening on screen. Tom Hardy, who was also involved in the film's production, portrays Patrick Walker, a police detective in an unnamed large city.
Early on in the movie, it highlights how chaotic his personal and professional lives have been, but that is, to put it mildly, rather normal. Indeed, he feels very bad about his dubious past. Indeed, he has been cut off from both his family and his coworkers. Yes, he despises himself as he is constantly reminded that he is powerless to change his terrible situation. Furthermore, he is not very kind to a young female police officer who just joined him as a partner.
