At the time, folk music legend Pete Seeger is visiting Guthrie. After hearing Dylan perform, Seeger decides to assist the aspiring musician by securing him performances and introducing him to significant individuals, including Joan Baez. During this time, Dylan becomes infatuated with Sylvie Russo, despite his attraction to Baez. Attempting to portray the entirety of Bob Dylan's career in one film would be an impossible task.
