A more realistic, political thriller-style plot, like to that of The Winter Soldier, is returned in Captain America: Brave New World on Afdah.
Among the film's most intriguing elements is its surprising function as a sort of sequel to The Incredible Hulk (2008). It's pleasant to see those you know return after such a long absence.
Harrison Ford's portrayal as Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross is undoubtedly one of the movie's highlights. The man is a legend, and his commanding presence in his scenes demonstrates why he is so well-known in popular culture. His portrayal lends the film a sense of seriousness.
